Description
Soleirolia soleirolii is a ground cover / creeping plant belonging to the Urticaceae family and native to the north of the Mediterranean region. Its common name is "Bridal mattress" or "Angel tears". It is a very compact and leafy plant that does not exceed 10 cm in height. It has a multitude of tiny, 2 to 5 mm long leaves of deep green color. Widely used in so-called vertical gardens or green walls, it is also perfect for use in terrariums as upholstery or indoors as decoration.
- Light: semi-shade or shade, never direct sun. In terrariums it adapts perfectly to artificial light
- Irrigation: abundant, keep the soil moist but avoid waterlogging the pot
- Temperature range: 5 - 20 ºC
- Substratum: loose and rich in organic matter, we recommend our general substrate
